Major update as of Thursday, February 22nd. EA Sports and the schools have confirmed that all 134 FBS teams will be included in EA Sports College Football 25. FCS teams will not be in the game at launch.
This effectively ends the need for our updated tracker.
Welcome to our EA Sports College Football 25 School tracker where we are keeping tabs on which schools are now confirmed in the new game.
The strongest indicators we look for to determine inclusion in the game are:
- Schools confirming via their own official channels
- EA Sports confirming school participation via usage in their marketing materials
If one of those could not be found, we moved onto reports via respected newspapers or Freedom of Information Act filings that confirmed school participation.
When we can’t find any of those three things, we marked it down as “Not yet confirmed.”
There is a very high likelihood that most (if not all) teams that are marked as “Not yet confirmed” will in fact be in EA Sports College Football 25, we just won’t report it until it is 100% confirmed.
We update this list every few days as more information becomes available. However, this is a large undertaking with over 100+ FBS teams so if you see confirmation from a school that we haven’t come across yet, please let us know in the comments section.

Will the D-I-FCS teams eventually be DLC for the game?
How come the swac is not in it like pv or southern or Texas southern
Why is SDSU not on this list? or none of the SD teams but there is 3+ California teams

Why is Idaho not on the list?! Don’t tell me, “Idaho sucks because they are fcs.” The Kibbie Dome is an icon of college football stadiums!
Unfortunately it’s only FBS schools at least to start so Idaho was left out (as legendary as the Kibbie Dome is).

Head coaches, as well as assistants, will not be in this year’s game.

You have Arkansas as unconfirmed, Arkansas State as confirmed– yet have a Razorback in the graphic, and no Red Wolf.
I think the graphic is causing some confusion. understandably so. It’s just a generic graphic representing different colleges throughout the country. The confirmed teams are what is marked in the article itself.
