More news on the upcoming EA Sports College Football game will be coming out in the next eight weeks according to Matt Brown of the Extra Points newsletter.
Brown made an appearance on The Athletic’s college football podcast, titled “Until Saturday” confirming that the first news directly from EA will be coming out later in February into March 2024.

The information that EA Sports will slowly be rolling out includes things like the cover athlete, the official release date, game modes, and much more.

We’ve been shouting it from the mountain for all to hear: Everyone we’ve talked to and everything we’ve seen indicates that the game is still set to come out this July.
In fact on EA’s most recent earnings call on January 30th, the college football game was singled out three different times by EA’s executives including the CEO reiterating that it will be coming out this year.
In other news, EA Sports announced the return of college football video games exactly 3 years ago today.
And a commercial or other video for the new game was recently filmed at the Rose Bowl.
All of this is to reassure you that everyone saying the game won’t be released in 2024 is simply wrong. Relax, it will be here in 5 short months.
