Back in March Kirk Herbstreit announced that there would be “multiple broadcast crews” in EA Sports College Football 25. Today, we have a better idea of what that will look like.
There will be two broadcast crews, both from ESPN.
Your normal everyday games will be called by Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, and David Pollack while Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the big games and marquee matchups.
We should not that voice work for College Football 25 started a few years ago before David Pollack was laid off from ESPN.
Here is the direct quote from EA:
Listen to the iconic voices of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit as they call marquee matchups, while Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, and David Pollack take the mic for all your other games. Take in the sights and sounds around the stadium between plays with a dynamic picture-in-picture play-call system.
The “dynamic picture-in-picture play-call system” sounds very intriguing as well but we’ll probably have to wait for more information on what exactly that entails.
Other ESPN personalities including Kevin Conners and Desmond Howard confirmed their inclusion in the game earlier in the year but they will likely be part of either a pre-game or half time show.
